Great news for Melbourne designers looking to network and exchange creative ideas! Ellis Jones invites you to join them to make connections and gain industry insights through their new event series Design Meet-Up, a quarterly platform for designers and design lovers of all kinds to gather together and share a drink, a chat, and be inspired by leading practitioners from all walks of creativity as they share their experience and insights while responding to a unifying theme.
The first Design Meet-Up will focus on the theme of 'Atmosphere'. This free event will be hosted by Ellis Jones design director David Constantine, who will introduce speakers from varied creative backgrounds and disciplines - Nick Smith (Editor-in-Chief at Drop Magazine), Tom Sloan, (one half of design duo miriamandtom), and Edward Linacre and Viktor Legin (Founders & Co-Directors of Copper Industrial Design). These speakers will respond to the theme of the night in 15 minutes or less. Plus there'll be beers and opportunities to chat bookending the evening.
